Apple has released the second beta of iOS 16.3, with updates expected to be released weekly. This update builds on the new features introduced in iOS 16.2. After a long wait the iOS 16.3 Beta 2 has been released, following a delay due to the holiday season.
Apple has released beta versions of iPadOS 16.3, watchOS 9.3, macOS Ventura 13.2, macOS Monterey 12.6.3, macOS Big Sur 11.7.3, and tvOS 16.3, alongside the iOS 16.3 Beta 2. The size of this update is roughly 696MB, although it may differ depending on the device model.
iOS 16.3 Beta 2 is available for users with a build number of 20D5035i. This indicates that the release candidate build is still some time away, before the final public release. This version includes new features like Emergency SOS settings and a tweaked outline for dynamic island activity on dark wallpaper. Apple Maps now also has a parking option in certain cities. Additionally, there may be minor modifications, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
