Apple pushing the new iOS 17 Release Candidate Build among other updates

iOS 17 Release Candidate

Apple has been beta testing the new iOS 17 build since the WWDC event in June. The iOS 17 beta program will conclude with the release of the final iOS 17 release candidate, which serves as the final beta before the official release.

Alongside the iOS 17 Release Candidate Build, Apple has also started rolling out the iPadOS 17 RC, tvOS 14 RC, watchOS 10 RC, macOS Ventura 13.6 RC3, macOS Sonoma 14 RC, and macOS Monterey 12.7 RC. The iOS 17 Release Candidate will come with the build number 21A329, which will likely be the same for the iOS 17 release unless the OEM releases another RC.

What is in the new iOS 17 RC?

The iOS 17 Release Candidate includes all the features that were introduced in the previous beta builds. This means the update will have most iOS 17 features that Apple unveiled at the WWDC event in June. Since iOS 17 is a major update, it will bring in a whole host of new features. If you are a part of the beta program, you would have experienced most of these features.

The new iOS 17 will pack a number of interesting new features like Standby Mode, Sticker drawer, Personalized contact posters, Leave a message if someone misses a FaceTime call, Swap numbers with Namedrop, interactive widgets, and more.
