Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G are now receiving April 2021 security patch update. The devices were launched back in August 2020 with Android-10 based One UI 2.5 skin. In mid-February, the phones received the Android 11 update and recently they received another big update that brought new camera features and improvements.
The latest OTA update for Galaxy Note 20 does not bring any new features apart from a new security patch. It can be identified by firmware versions N981U1UES2DUC8 and N986U1UES2DUC8 respectively for Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G.
As per the information, the update is yet to reach the Exynos variant of Galaxy Note 20 series in European and Asian markets. We can expect the manufacturer to roll out the update very soon in the remaining markets. To manually check for the latest update, navigate to Settings >> Software update.
