[Download Link] Redmi Note 8T gets Android 11 update

Redmi Note 8T starts receiving Android 11 update in the EEA region. The smartphone was launched back in late 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Now it is receiving Android 11 as the second major OS upgrade for the device.

The new software update for Redmi Note 8T bundles with firmware version V12.0.2.0.RCXEUXM. As of now, we don’t have the complete changelog, but it should bring all the Android 11 core features including Chat bubbles, permission auto reset, one-time permission for apps, improved Digital Wellbeing, security enhancements, and improved parental controls.

This is a major update and you will require to download a big chunk of data. Currently, it is expanding in EEA and should start hitting other regions over the next few days. You can manually check for the latest update on Redmi Note 8T by heading to Settings >> About phone and check for updates.
