Microsoft is quite adept when it comes to rolling out new updates and the developers have lived up to the reputation by releasing the newest updates. The OEM has started pushing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23601 and 26010.

Both of these updates come with few features and improvements. They’re available to Insiders in the Canary or Dev channel. If you’ve joined the Windows Insider program, you will get the update on your PC or you can check for it by going to Settings -> Windows Update.

Starting with the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26010, which will bring a new updated Widgets board settings, giving you more option to customize the board. In the board, you’ll be able to personalize your feeds easily.

The Tips app has also been removed after updating to the build 26002 or higher. As for the Taskbar and System Tray, after trying the scrollable view of quick settings with Windows Insiders, Microsoft has rolled this out once more with slight refinements. This scrolling view of quick actions will allow you to rearrange the set of quick settings and offer better usability and discoverability for the user.

The Task Manager setting page now features Mica Material. Moreover, the Settings have also seen an addition. The optional features previously listed under Settings -> Apps have now been moved to its own page under Settings -> System.

Microsoft 11 Insider Preview Build 23601

Coming to the Windows 11 Insider Preview Builds 23601. This build has been released to Dev Channel and it brings along a number of changes to Windows 365 Boot and to Windows 365 Switch. This also includes a new personal mode for Windows 365 boot, Fail fast mechanism, customize company logo, and Manage local PC settings through Windows 365 Boot, among others.

The update also brings suggestions in the Cast feature and the Cast flyout appearing on pressing Windows + K. The new Widget board that is seen in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23601 is also available in this build.

There is another addition made in the form of ability to “undock” Copilot in Windows. You just need to click the new icon for unpinning the Copilot panel at the top-right in the header. When undocked, Copilot will appear above or below other apps in Windows while still maintaining its fixed position on the desktop. This way, you can access Copilot while minimizing disruption to other activities.

The Windows share window will now support sharing with WhatsApp under the “Share Using” section. If you’ve not installed WhatsApp, you can look to install it from Windows share window directly.
