OnePlus 5T Android 8.0 Oreo Firmware Update (Open Beta 1) Is Now Official:OnePlus has released the latest smartphone from the company earlier this year which was the OnePlus 5. However, we have seen that the company decided to upgrade the OnePlus 5 and launched the upgraded version of the OnePlus 5 which was named as the OnePlus 5T. Now, we have also seen that the OnePlus 5T comes with minor improvements in terms of internals from the OnePlus 5 as both the smartphones have the identical processor as well as RAM combinations. Also, the design of the OnePlus 5T is also similar to the OnePlus 5 as both of them have a dual rear camera setup along with an iPhone 7 Plus style camera module.
However, the OnePlus 5T has a Full-screen display which has an aspect ratio of 18:9 which means that the smartphone has an edge to edge display which was not present on the OnePlus 5T. Now, due to the edge to edge display on the OnePlus 5T, the fingerprint sensor is now placed on the back below the camera module and above the OnePlus logo. Talking about software, the OnePlus 5T was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat but this is about to change as OnePlus has released Open Beta 1 for the OnePlus 5T which will install Android 8.0 Oreo on the phone.
