Oppo Reno5 Pro and Reno5 Pro Plus tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 860 SoC

Oppo is reportedly working on a new flagship series rumoured to be called as Reno5 series. It was previously rumoured to debut in May, but that didn’t happen. Till now, we didn’t have any details about the Reno5 series, but now details are started to surface online.

A new leak from Really Asen Jun shows devices under Reno5 series and chipset names. According to him, there will be 3 phones under Reno5 series: Reno5, Reno5 Pro, and Reno5 Pro+. Further, he says, the Reno5 will be powered by Snapdragon 775G. While the Reno5 Pro and Reno5 Pro+ are said to be powered by Snapdragon 860 chipset.

Both the Snapdragon 775G and Snapdragon 860 chipsets are not announced yet. The Snapdragon 775G was rumoured to be unveiled in June, but still un-announced. Both the chipsets are most likely to have 5G-modems. Since the details about Reno5 series surfacing online, therefore we expect the company to announce something soon.
