Google rolls out the monthly security update for Pixel devices, targeting a number of issues this February. The latest software update, tagged with UQ1A.240205.002 build number, is now reaching eligible devices, enhancing their performance and security.
For owners of the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, the update is identified by the UQ1A.240205.004 version number. Carrier-specific models are also catered to, with firmware versions concluding with A1 for Verizon and B1 for SoftBank (JP) users. Notably compact at just 28MB, the update facilitates a quick and efficient installation process, aligning with the tradition of delivering substantial improvements without the need for hefty downloads.
