Xiaomi has officially started rolling out the latest January 2022 Security Patch for Redmi Note 8 Pro users in India. The new update is being rolled out via OTA and will gradually be made available for a certain section of users in India before it is gradually pushed for other users in other regions in the coming days and weeks.

The new January 2022 Security update will be based on Android 11 and come with the build number MIUI V12.5.6.0.RGGINXM for the users. It is a pretty big update as it comes as a software package of around 2.4 GB in size, so you must be connected to fast Wi-Fi and have enough battery in your device so that you can seamlessly install the update without any issues.
