Samsung Galaxy A70s grabs One UI 2.0 based Android 10 Stable Update

The Samsung Galaxy A70s is an upper mid-segment smartphone that was launched in September 2019 under A-lineup. It came with Android 9.0 Pie on the top of One UI out of the box. Currently, the company has started pushing the latest Android 10 stable update for the Samsung Galaxy A70s model. The new Galaxy A70s One UI 2.0 update is rolling out in batches via OTA. Therefore, it can take some time to hit all the Galaxy A70s devices globally.

The new firmware update brings the February 2020 Security Patchset for the Galaxy A70s model that features Dark mode, Gestures Navigation, Smart Reply, Live Caption, AOD (Always-On Display) support, Focus Mode, improved app permissions, location privacy control, and more. It also brings some of the dedicated One UI 2.0 features like built-in screen recorder, improved stock camera UI, improved app icons & system element, etc.

According to the SamMobile, the Galaxy A70s One UI 2.0 (Android 10) stable update brings the firmware version A707FDDU2BTC2 in India at a file size of 2025.96MB. As we already mentioned above, the complete roll-out process may take a few days or more.

So, either you can check for the OTA update notification on your device or you can keep waiting. In order to check OTA updates, go to the Software Update section under the Settings and then check for updates. Currently, there is no firmware download link available. So, you can use the Frija tool to check and download the latest available firmware.

To recall, the Galaxy A70s came with a Super AMOLED 6.7″ display with Full-HD+ resolution, an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor, Adreno 612 graphics, 6/8GB RAM, 128GB of onboard storage (a dedicated microSD slot), 64-megapixels triple rear cameras, a 32-megapixels selfie camera, etc.

It also has a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, Type-C port, a 4500mAh battery, 25W quick charging, an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, a compass sensor, etc.
