Samsung has started sending a new software update to Galaxy M51 users. The update bumps the Android monthly security patch level to February 2021. It fixes 4 critical and 32 high level CVE’s, which enhances the device security.
This is a minor update and hence does not add any new features to the device. It is currently rolling out to Galaxy M51 users in the UK with software version M515FXXS2BUA1. Soon, it will expand to other regions as well.
If you’re a user of Galaxy M51, then you would have already received the update. If not, then check for the latest update manually by heading to Settings -> Software update, then click on Download and install. If no update shows available, then wait patiently for few days. You’ll receive a pop-up notification when the update arrives on your phone.
