Xiaomi has finally released the update to its MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM with the version number 7.9.15. The new beta update comes with a lot of bug fixes and a few performance enhancements and behind the screen optimizations. Xiaomi has also added a few new ringtones to this Global Beta update. The fast boot and the recovery images for this Global Beta 7.9.15 update are now available for the supported devices that are enrolled in the beta program.
Some of these devices include Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 4i, Redmi 3S, Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 2 and Mi Max. Some of the fixes in this update include the fixing of common issues in the camera and the scanner apps, and also the Mi Remote app. Xiaomi has also optimized the system themes so that they occupy less memory and the gesture operations are also improved in this beta update.
Currently, the new ringtones are only available for the Indian variants of these devices but they might roll out to further regions in the next update. If you want to check for the update, go to Settings –> About Phone –> System updates –> Check for update. If you still do not receive any update notification, Don’t worry, You can manually Download and Install MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM on your supported Xiaomi device.
