Huawei Mate 8 has just received the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA Firmware Update.The Update comes with Huawei’s latest Emotion UI v4.1 (EMUI 4.1).Huawei Mate 8 becomes the first device to receives the EMUI 4.1 updates.Recently, Huawei has released many Marshmallow updates for its popular phones and we have covered most of the updates but all those updates come with EMUI 4.0 but now Huawei has updated their skin to EMUI 4.1.Now here we are going to share step by step guide on How to Download & Flash / Install Official Marshmallow Firmware B320 Huawei Mate 8 (EMUI 4.1)

As I mentioned before, this is an official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and it is very stable enough to use as daily driver.The update will be rolling via OTA, you can manually check for the update.Please follow the given steps to check for the update yourself.

To Check for latest Update, Go to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Updates 

Make sure that your device’s bootloader is locked if it is unlocked or your Mate 8 is rooted then you are not going to receive the update via OTA.You can update via OTA (Over-the-air).But if the update is not available in your region then you can wait for the update to come or you can Update Huawei Mate 8 to Marshmallow (EMUI 4.1) Manually.Just follow the given steps to safely Update Huawei Mate 8 to Marshmallow EMUI 4.1 manually.

  1. I have the B182 version on My Huawei NXT-AL10. Is the firmware above a later one than B182? I am having battery drain issues with the B182
