Download N960FXXU5ETF5: Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 with June 2020 Security Patch

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960F) has bagged the much-awaited June 2020 security patch with N960FXXU5ETF5 build number. The update brings Samsung’s Latest One UI 2.1 based on Android 10. Previously Europen users have already received the update and now some other international markets joined the list.

This update is currently being rolled for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 devices internationally (including South Korea). If you are a Galaxy Note 9 user, you may have already received the June 2020 Security Patch OTA  update notification on your device.

If the update has not been on your device’s system update section, then just wait for few more days for the update to come, else you can manually download and flash the One UI 2.1 based N960FXXU5ETF5 June 2020 Security Patch on Galaxy Note 9 using Odin by following our guide.

It also brings some bug fixes which were available in the previous build. Installation Guide (Manual Flashing using Odin)

  1. First, download the firmware file from the download section above
  2. Now Enter the recovery mode on your device, then follow the linked guide below to Install Security Patch Update On your Galaxy device
  3. If you want to sideload the OTA then follow the guide below
  4. If you want to Install the Full Firmware File then follow the guide given below (Odin Method)

If the installation is successful, you will see the message Pass in the Log Tab.

Note:Before installing the updates, make sure your device is connected to a good wifi and your device has more than 50 percent battery life remaining
