Another Xiaomi device has been updated to the December 2019 security patch update. After Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, now the Mi 9 has started getting the latest December 2019 security patch. The new MIUI 11.0.7.0 Europe Stable ROM (V11.0.7.0.QFAEUXM) ROM is now available for Xiaomi Mi 9.
The update is a Global Stable ROM which is currently rolling out in some European countries. If your device is running on a Europe Stable ROM, only then you will get the update via OTA. Otherwise, you have to install it manually. The update is based on Android 10. The Full firmware size is around 2.3 GB. You can follow our guide to manually flash the full firmware on your device.
If your device is not rooted, then your device may have received the update. You can manually check whether the update is available in your region or not.
